Interview with Annaëlle RENEVOT, a student in the Industrial Logistics degree program.

Annaëlle RENEVOT is a student in the Logistics for Industrial Sectors professional degree program at ESLI and with Cummins Filtration. Find out more about her career in 2 minutes.

What's your background?

I obtained my BAC ES in 2020. After some thought, I decided to pursue my studies in the field of logistics. I completed a DUT GLT.

I have absolutely no regrets about my choice of career path. Logistics is at the heart of every business and is very important to the smooth running of a company.

Pourquoi as-tu intégré la Licence LFI ?

I've heard about the LFI Bachelor's degree on several occasions, both from former students and from my former course.

This Bachelor's degree is a continuation of my BAC+2. I found it interesting to delve deeper into the subjects I had studied.

What's more, this is a sandwich course, a very important criterion for me, as I wanted to discover not only the theory, but also the practical side: what it's really like to work in a company, or to be able to illustrate each point with a concrete case.

Peux-tu nous présenter cette formation ?

The LFI Bachelor's degree is a level 6 Professional Bachelor's degree, i.e. BAC+3, offered on a sandwich course.

This training enables us to carry out continuous improvement projects (in the field of logistics) within our companies, such as improving supplier service levels, but also during our courses, as with the GENIAL project.

The LFI license prepares us for the field and broadens our professional skills.

What do you think is the best thing about this course?

In my opinion, the best thing about this course is that it's run by professionals rather than academic teachers.

First and foremost, the lecturers provide us with the know-how they have acquired in their respective companies, with the help of concrete case studies. But also, the fact of having examples, comparable or not, with the companies of my fellow students.

Where are you on work-study?

I'm doing my work-study placement at CUMMINS FILTRATION in Quimper, Finistère. I'm currently working in the Ordering/Procurement department.

What are your missions?

On a daily basis, I train as a component supplier. For this purely operational part, I process the MRP on a daily basis and update several files to monitor availability, orders in progress and control (late orders or orders in transit) in liaison with suppliers.

In parallel, I started a few data analysis missions such as :

  1. Updating scrap rates (whose reliability enables the right quantity to be ordered);
  2. Updating of component safety stocks and implementation of a work standard for suppliers.

What are your plans for the future?

After the bachelor's degree, I'd like to continue my studies with a work-study Master's degree.
