The Automatisme, Robotique pour la Logistique et la Production (Automatics and Robotics for Logistics and Production) course of the Mastère M.L.A.I has been accredited by the ID4CAR competitiveness cluster.
ID4CAR is the leading innovation hub for the automotive, vehicle and mobility industries in the Grand Ouest region. With over 380 members, its aim is to stimulate local players by developing their competitiveness, excellence and European impact.
Because of its consistency with the cluster's strategic activities, the A.R.L.P. course has been awarded the ID4CAR label thanks to :
- The pedagogical approach proposed was deemed highly relevant in its multi-disciplinary aspect, making it possible to take account of needs linked to functions related to robotics for logistics and production, such as taking account of the needs and operation of purchasing functions.
- Its impact on the region: " The proposed training program meets the needs expressed by industry players for technical skills in automation and robotics, who are currently facing a shortage of automation engineers and robotics specialists. Its integration into its territorial ecosystem is based on the use of robotics technical platforms, enabling local manufacturers to be supported in the training process, which is judged to be entirely relevant, enabling land needs to be taken into account in line with companies' expectations in terms of mastering Industry 4.0 technologies. "
Part of the training is based on the technical facilities of the Rennes IUT. The robotics platform is used for training, research projects and feasibility studies and tests. Equipped with, among other things, 6-axis robots, automated conveyors and dedicated software, this platform enables A.R.L.P. students to acquire the field skills sought after by local companies.
